Braebuck the Soapstone Jackalope

The jackalope is a mythical animal of North American folklore described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. 

Braebuck is carved from a uniquely coloured soapstone; colours range from warm caramels to earthy greens and blacks, patterned in diagonal tiger stripes across the carving. 

In her hands is balanced a green marble, and atop her head are two antlers, hand-carved from real deer antler (naturally shed)

She is polished with tung oil to bring out the natural earthy colours of the stone.
